Helping nonprofits & purpose-driven organisations communicate their impact in a way that inspires engagement & action.
ABOUT ME
I’m lucky enough to be based in beautiful Wollongong, Australia but I work with clients throughout the globe to create reports and publications with a clean, thoughtful design approach. I’m all about flowing text, shifting things around and aligning objects perfectly. It feels like getting to do puzzles for work, and I love it!
I completed a Bachelor of Graphic Design at the University of Canberra and have since honed my skills through full-time and freelance roles in Australia, the UK, and the Netherlands.
Over that time, I realised that long-form documents with a story to tell were the projects I loved the most. I’ve developed a passion for clean print and editorial design. I’m also a keen illustrator of icons, ready to tackle projects that blend both design and illustration. I offer personalised advice and consultation tailored to each unique project.
In my downtime (if that's even a thing with 2 kids!), you’ll find me visiting one of Wollongong’s lovely little cafés, enjoying the outdoors with a swim or walk along the beach, baking treats, and bingeing on podcasts.

Principles
of my work
Dynamic layouts
No one likes reading huge walls of text. I alternate between light and dark backgrounds and integrate visual assets to make sure readers stay engaged from start to finish.
Breathing space
Simply put, I’m negative space’s biggest fan. Your content needs space and breathing room to give the reader visual rests as they read through your documents.
Visual playfulness
Make documents fun again! I use visual elements like icons, illustrations, infographics, feature pages and diagrams to bring your content to life.
My process
-
We start with a kick-off call where I’ll run through all of your project requirements with you. We’ll go over what sort of publication you need, your timeline and look at the best way to work with your specific content.
-
I come up with suggested concepts for layout based on your brand guidelines and specific ideas. We work back and forth until we get to a final approved design approach.
-
This is the step where I’ll be looking at the best way to layout your content, adding in visual elements like icons, illustrations and formatting charts and graphics to make your publication say ‘look at me’.
-
This is a chance to review the content and layout now that it’s all put together. You might highlight areas that you want more or less featured, swap images around or simply fix up a few typos you missed.
-
I’ll hand over everything you need for a successful publication. A digital file for publishing online and print and/or artwork files if required. I can also provide complementary assets such as social media tiles and other launch assets.
